The
Tagore School of Arts, which is imparting training for forty four
years in the field of dance, music, fine arts and crafts, is instrumental
in upholding the cultural tradition in Jamshedpur by giving an opportunity
to its citizens to express their ideas and imaginations and to nurture
their natural and hidden talent.
The
Tagore School of Arts has its main centre at Rabindra Bhavan and
six sub-centres at different parts of the city to help in developing
and nurturing hidden talents. In the year 2010-11, the total number
of students, including all the branches, was 2314. The maximum number
of students was in the fine arts. |

Like
every year, the Telco Branch of the Tagore School of Arts, had its
annual fine arts and crafts exhibition in July 2010. It exhibited
immense talent of the participants. The students of Rabindra Bhavan
Branch also organised its annual fine arts and crafts exhibition
in May 2010 as part of the Rabindra Jayanti celebration. There is
no denying that these opportunities give the students avenues to
show their talent. The Society, on the other hand, feels proud when
appreciation and recognition are bestowed on the students.
